The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Jagdish P. S. Case No. 72 of 2020 dated 23.02.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 504, 506, 366(A) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Later on, Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the POCSO Act, 2012 were also added. The petitioner and two others are said to have dragged the victim in presence of her mother and taken her to some destination where one of the accused
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.32454 of 2020(3) dt.20-01-2021 2/2 persons committed rape on her.
The aforesaid accusation has supported by the victim in her statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C. Considering the afore-noted nature of accusation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
The prayer for bail is rejected.
