1. The writ petition is filed challenging the notice dated 25.04.2012 issued under Section 7 of the Bihar and Orissa Public Demands Recovery Act, 1914 (hereinafter referred to as the PDR Act), for recovery of an amount of Rs. 28,12,260/- and further seeking quashing of the entire proceedings arising out of Certificate Case No. 02/2011-12, pursuant to the requisition dated 23.07.2010.

2. During the course of argument, the Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed a detailed objection under

Patna High Court CWJC No.19478 of 2018(4) dt.12-08-2025 2/2 Section 9 of the PDR Act before the District Certificate Officer, Munger, however, the same has not been disposed of till date.

3. Taking into consideration the fact that the objection petition has been pending before the District Certificate Officer, Munger since 2012, the respondent authority is directed to pass an appropriate order in accordance with law under Section 10 of the PDR Act within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
