This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Katoriya P.S. Case No. 22 of 2020 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30 (a) and 56 (D) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Allegedly, from the petitioner's possession, 16 liters of illicit liquor was recovered. The petitioner is in custody since 24.02.2020. The allegation of recovery of illicit liquor from the petitioner's possession has been denied by the petitioner. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and there is no chance of his absconding from the investigation or trial, as the investigation is complete by now.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Banka in Katoriya P.S. Case No. 22 of 2020.
