The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Pranpur P.S. Case No. 05/2015 for the offences punishable under sections 409, 419, 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code. The prosecution case, in brief, as made out in the F.I.R. is that the petitioner has misappropriated Government money of Rs.667783.00.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that altogether misappropriation of rupees six lakhs and odd is being

It has further been submitted that the petitioner is ready to deposit Rs.1,00000/-(one lakh) in the court below within three months, which shall be subject to the final disposal of the criminal case.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner Ravi Ranjan Bharti be released on provisional bail for a period of three months on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Katihar, in connection Pranpur P.S. Case No. 5/2015, with the condition that the petitioner shall deposit the said amount within three months. On the deposit of the said amount bail of the petitioner shall be confirmed by the court below.
