The instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for a direction to the respondents to release salary from November, 2016 to March, 2019.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner is drawing regular current salary from April, 2019 but he has not been paid salary for the period from
Patna High Court CWJC No.15877 of 2017(3) dt.08-08-2019 2/2 November, 2016 to March, 2019.
Considering the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the District Programme Officer (Establishment), Lakhisarai to examine the record and verify the claim of the petitioner for payment of salary. If the appointment of the petitioner is legal and valid and if the petitioner has worked for the period in question there is no reason not to make payment. District Programme Officer (Establishment), Lakhisarai is directed to pass appropriate order with regard to payment of salary for the period from November, 2016 to Marc, 2019 and ensure payment thereof, if not already paid, within a period of sixty days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
With the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
