2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 309(4) of B.N.S.

3. The case of the prosecution is that the informant who is the driver of rapido was being booked by two persons and as he has proceeded with the said booking, he was being threatened on the point of knife and the boys who have booked the rapido, snatched ten thousand rupees from the informant. The informant started raising alarm and the passers-by chased the miscreants and the petitioner was apprehended It is alleged that from possession of this petitioner, a key of bike and mobile were recovered.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Learned

As the informant has raised alarm, he was apprehended by the common public. A statement has been made in para-3 of this petition that the petitioner has got two criminal antecedents. In this case, police has submitted charge sheet under Section 309 of BNS. Moreover, the petitioner is languishing in judicial custody since 21.12.2025.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer of regular bail.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Ramkrishna Nagar P.S. Case No. 1114 of 2025 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge (E.O.U.) cum JMFC-XV, Civil Court, Patna (Bihar).
