Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under section 307 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code. Petitioner is not named in the first information report but from perusal of the impugned order it would appear that one coaccused Sanjit Kumar was arrested and confessed his guilt disclosing involvement of the petitioner in the present crime. It appears that except confessional statement of co-accused, there is nothing against the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran at Motihari in Harsidhi P.S.
