The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Sections 384, 387 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant disclosed that he received repeated calls from SIM no. 9199364262 and extortion was demanded. The petitioner was arrested and from his possession, a mobile having the above SIM no. was recovered. Sri Vijay Kumar Sinha, learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that the petitioner is in jail since 24.12.2014. No delivery of extortion money was made. Having considered the fact that it was the petitioner from whose possession one mobile having the same SIM no., from which extortion was demanded, was recovered and the petitioner has got criminal antecedents, most of the cases are of similar nature and are pending against the petitioner, I am not inclined to

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21402 of 2015 (3) dt.07-09-2015 2/2 enlarge the petitioner on bail at this stage in Pirbahore P.S. Case No. 334 of 2014. Accordingly, the same is rejected. The petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after remaining one year in custody.
