Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner and learned A.P.P. appearing for the State through video conferencing.

This application is filed for modification of order dated 31.01.2020 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 70249 of 2019.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.49566 of 2021(2) dt.01-09-2021 2/2 petitioner submits that petitioner had been granted pre-arrest bail on 31.01.2020 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 70249 of 2019 with a direction to surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Begusarai, in connection with Complaint Case No. 1243C of 2019, but, due to some unavoidable circumstances, petitioner could not surrender before the Court below within the stipulated time.

In such view of the matter, let the time to surrender of the petitioner as ordered on 31.01.2020 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 70249 of 2019 be further extended by four weeks from today.

Accordingly, the modification application is allowed and the order dated 31.01.2020 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 70249 of 2019 is modified to the above extent.

This application stands disposed of.
