2. The writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs :- "(i) For commanding and directing the Respondents for payment of Group Insurance with 12% compound interest amounting Rs.2,41,045.00 (Some amount paid).
(ii) For commanding and directing the Respondents for payment promotional of benefit from 16.10.1999 to 31.12.2014 which has not been fixed for his
Patna High Court CWJC No.8732 of 2025(2) dt.11-09-2025 2/3 Senior Lecturer Scale and has not been paid differences of arrears of salary with effect from 16.10.1999 to 31.12.2014.
(iii) For commanding and directing the Respondents for pay fixation of pension according to Senior Lecturer Scale with effect from 31.12.2014till date and pay differences of arrears of salary.
(iv) For commanding and directing the Respondents for payment of Rs.
19,317.00 in place of Rs. 18,320.00 and give the difference of salary from 19.05.2015 to till date, and according pay the difference of gratuity & E. L (v) For commanding and directing the Respondents for payment of period 1993 to 1998 due to promotion of Lecturer and pay the difference of salary.
(vi) And/or any other appropriate relief(s) to the petitioner for which he may be found entitled in the eye of law."

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner superannuated from the post of Senior Lecturer on 31.12.2014 in the Department of Physics from Jagdam College, Chapra under Jai Prakash University, Chapra and has approached this Court for the claims referred to in the relief portion as mentioned aforesaid.
4. It has further been submitted that in a similarly situated case this Court vide order dated 04.09.2025, passed in
Patna High Court CWJC No.8732 of 2025(2) dt.11-09-2025 3/3 C.W.J.C. No. 8273 of 2025, directed that the claims of such petitioner to be considered in similar terms and the University is carrying out the necessary formalities, as required in law, and therefore, his case may also be directed to be considered by the University as per the ratio laid down in the aforesaid case and the benefits accruing to the petitioner, may be extended without any inordinate delay.

Considering the aforesaid facts, the case of the petitioner is also directed to be considered by the University for which the petitioner shall file a representation preferably within a period of six weeks from today and the University shall consider the same and decide his case by passing a reasoned and speaking order. Needless to say, if the claim of the petitioner is found to be in accordance with law, the necessary and consequential benefits shall be also extended to the petitioner within a further period of four weeks thereafter.
6. Accordingly, the writ application stands disposed off.
