In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Udwantnagar (Gajrajganj O.P.) P.S. Case No. 148 of 2020, registered for the offence under Section 304-B and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation has been made that the victim lady has been killed by her in laws. The petitioner is the mother-in-law of the deceased.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an old lady, aged about 65 years, and she is in jail custody since 08.07.2020.

Looking to the period of custody as also the fact that the petitioner is an old lady aged about 65 years, let the

No.36367 of 2020(3) dt.05-03-2021 2/2 petitioner, above-named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhojpur, Ara, in connection with Udwantnagar (Gajrajganj O.P.) P.S. Case No. 148 of 2020, subject to the condition that the petitioner would cooperate in the proceeding of the court below. In the event of failure to appear on two consecutive dates, the court below will be at liberty to pass appropriate order including cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner.
