2. In this case, the petitioners are seeking regular bail in connection with Khaira P.S. Case No. 430 of 2023, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-b)A, 26 of the Arms Act.

3. As per allegation, police received a secret information that one accused of Khaira P.S. Case No. 242/21 is in the process of leaving the jurisdiction of police station. The police rushed the place of occurrence and arrested the petitioner who was attempting to flee away. From his possession, a country-made pistol and live cartridges were recovered.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.48887 of 2024(2) dt.22-07-2024 2/2 that out of 16 cases pending against the petitioner, he has been acquitted in 7 cases and in 4 cases he has been granted bail. The petitioner is under custody since 13.10.2023.

5. Considering the fact that a country made pistol and live cartridges were recovered from the possession of the petitioner and also considering the strong criminal antecedents of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer for bail is rejected.

6. Learned court below is directed to expedite the trial.
