2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Sursand P.S. Case No. 428 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 137(2), 87 of the BNS, 2023.

3. As per allegation, the petitioner along with other coaccused persons are said to have kidnapped the daughter of the informant, namely Shilpi Kumari with the intention to marry or to sell her.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in

She had love and affection with the petitioner and she herself filed an affidavit along with her school certificates and stated therein that she is major and has solemnized marriage with the petitioner. In the affidavit, she has also levelled allegation against police personnels stating that they misbehaved with her. It has further been submitted that when she went to her parents' house, in pressure of her parents, she rendered her statement under Section 161 and 164 of the Cr.P.C. implicating the petitioner and other co-accused persons.

5. On the other hand, learned APP for the State and learned counsel for the informant have opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the victim in her statement under Section 161 and 164 of the Cr.P.C. has supported the prosecution case.

6. The victim has already filed an affidavit mentioning therein that she is major and has solemnized marriage with the petitioner.

7. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks before the learned court below, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount
