JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 05-12-2020 The present petition has been taken up for consideration through the mode of Video conferencing in view of the prevailing situation on account of COVID 19 Pandemic, requiring social distancing.

The present petition has been filed seeking modification of the order dated 29.06.2020 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 14460 of 2020 to the extent that the time granted to the petitioner herein to surrender before the learned court below for the purposes of obtaining anticipatory bail be extended and further to correct the typographical

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.29483 of 2020(2) dt.05-12-2020 2/3 error to the effect that the police station depicted in the address of the petitioner stated at the top of the aforesaid order dated 29.06.2020 be corrected and mentioned as Dildarnagar.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that on account of the prevailing situation due to Covid 19 Pandemic, the petitioner could not surrender before the learned court below within the time frame prescribed by this Court, hence, a sympathetic view may be taken and the time granted to the petitioner to surrender may be extended.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to extend the time granted to the petitioner to surrender before the learned court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Buxar in connection with Rajpur P.S. Case No. 207 of 2018 by a further period of six weeks from today.

It is also directed that the police station mentioned in the address portion of the petitioner herein in the aforesaid order dated 29.06.2020 be

Accordingly, the order dated 29.06.2020 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 14460 of 2020 stands modified to the aforesaid extent. The present petition stands disposed of.
