Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within two weeks of the complete start of the physical Court in normal course.

The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Parsabazar P.S. Case No. 183 of 2021 for the offence punishable under Sections 376 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 67 (b) of the I.T. Act and Sections 6 and 14(3) of the POCSO Act.

Prosecution story, in brief, is that the victim who is aged about 14 years has alleged that the petitioner while treating her had made an objectionable video after seducing her and

The victim has supported the allegation made in the F.I.R. in her statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C. Taking into consideration the seriousness of the offence alleged against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, the present bail application is rejected. The trial court is directed to conclude the trial expeditiously within a period of nine months. If no substantial progress takes place in the trial within the aforesaid period, the petitioner, if so advised, may renew his prayer for bail.
