Petitioner seeks bail in Hajipur Sadar P.S. Case No.170 of 2019 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The informant (S.I. of Hajipur Sadar P.S.) alleged that he received information that the petitioner was involved in illegal trade of liquor. On such, a raid was conducted but the vehicle in which the petitioner was moving was intercepted. 88.2 litres of Indian made foreign liquor was recovered. The petitioner is in jail since 08.06.2020. The petitioner has already remained in jail for six months for recovery of 88.2 litres of Indian made foreign liquor.

Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid, the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33260 of 2020(2) dt.14-12-2020 2/2 petitioner named above is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge II-cum-Excise Court, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Hajipur Sadar P.S. Case No.170 of 2019.
