2. The jurisdiction of this Court has been invoked by the petitioner seeking a direction upon the respondents to ensure payment of arrears of salary w.e.f. 15.03.2024 till date and further for the current salary.

3. Mr. Lakshmindra Kumar Yadav, learned Advocate for the petitioner submitted that it is not in dispute that the petitioner was duly appointed on the post of Assistant Teacher

Patna High Court CWJC No.9363 of 2025(3) dt.02-09-2025 2/3 on 15.03.2024 in the Government Primary School, Kadmaha, Block-Ghoghardiha, District-Madhubani and has been discharging his duties without any interruption since then. However, he has not been paid his salary for the work he has been performing.

Mr. Yatindra Narayan, learned Advocate for the State, referring to the averments made in the counter affidavit has submitted that on account of some procedural requirements, including administrative verification and financial clearance, salary and arrears of the petitioner could not be paid as yet; however, the District Education Officer, Madhubani, has taken necessary steps in this regard and issued a letter to the District Programme Officer (Estb.) Madhubani under Memo No.2380 dated 29.05.2025 and Memo No.2797 dated 16.06.2025, seeking requisite reports and clarification from the concerned Panchayat and Block Education Officer. The concerned respondent(s) have given undertaking that upon receipt of requisite report(s), the office will act strictly in accordance with law to process the petitioner's claim for salary and arrears.

5. Having considered the respective submissions advanced by the learned Advocate for the respective parties, this Court thinks it fit and proper to dispose off the writ petition with

Patna High Court CWJC No.9363 of 2025(3) dt.02-09-2025 3/3 a direction to respondents no.4 and 5 to complete the process of procedural requirements and ensure payment of admissible salary and arrears in favour of the petitioner, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this Court.

6. With the aforesaid direction, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
