JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 21-01-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner prays for grant of regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under section 385 and other ancillary sections of the Indian Penal Code. As per the prosecution case, informant, who is Munsi of a construction company, received a ransom call of Rs.2 lacs on his mobile phone and next day five unknown accused persons, on the point of arms took Rs.50,000/- cash and cheque of Rs.1 lac from him and demanded more money from the informant. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. FIR is against unknown. Petitioner's name has figured during course of investigation in confessional statement of coaccused Rahul Kumar. He submits that though the mobile

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner is accused in five other criminal cases but he is on bail in all of them. Petitioner is in custody since 8.6.2020.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. Let the petitioner, as named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gaya in Alipur Police Station Case No. 75 of 2020.
