2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Sections 498(A), 323, 379 of the Indian Penal Code and 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act registered in connection with Complaint Case No. 688(C) of 2016.
3. It is submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated and this is the first such complaint of its nature since the parties were married in the year 2011. The petitioner is the husband of the complainant and he expresses his willingness to keep his wife with due dignity and honour. The petitioner claims clean antecedents.
4. Despite valid service of notice upon opposite party no. 2, none is present on her behalf when the matter is called.
5. Having regard to the entirety of the facts and
