2. The petitioner has filed the instant application for grant of regular bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 80 (2), 238(a), 3(5) of the BNS.

3. Allegation against the petitioner is of demand of dowry and torture and due to non fulfillment of dowry, the in-laws of the informant's daughter killed her and disappeared her dead body.

4. The petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case due to suspicion. The specific allegation is against Sunny Kumar, who is husband of the deceased and there is

There is no iota of evidence to show the complicity of the petitioner in this case. After investigation, charge sheet has already been submitted against the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 24.12.2024 having no criminal antecedent.

5. Learned APP appearing on behalf of the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case as well as period of custody, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail, in connection with Hulashganj P.S.Case No. 254 of 2024 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jehanabad.
