The petitioner nos. 1 and 2 after having served as Nazir and Clerk in the Collectorate, Vaishali superannuated but were directed to render their services till further orders. It is the case of the petitioners that they have served the Collectorate in their respective capacities from 2018 and continue to do so till date. However, they have not been paid their remuneration. The representations preferred by the petitioners before the District Magistrate, Vaishali

Patna High Court CWJC No.12293 of 2019(2) dt.24-06-2019 2/2 have not yet been responded to.

Under the aforesaid circumstances, the petitioners are directed to make a fresh representation before the District Magistrate, Vaishali (Respondent No. 2), who shall verify the facts and ascertain whether the petitioners were directed to work after their superannuation and whether such entrustment of work even provisionally, was permissible under the rules and whether work has been taken from them and thereafter shall pass orders in accordance with law with respect to the remuneration for the period they have served. If such representation, referred to above, is filed within a period of four weeks, a reasoned order in accordance with law, after full verification, shall be passed, within a further period of six weeks thereafter.

With the aforesaid observation / direction, this petition stands disposed off.
