Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under sections 467, 468, 420, 120B, 272, 273, 290/34 of the Indian Penal Code as well as section 47A of the Excise Act.

Taking into consideration that petitioner was caught on the spot when he was found engaged in sealing and packing the liquor, I am not inclined to release him on bail and accordingly, his prayer for bail in connection with Buxar (T) P.S. Case no. 35/2016 pending in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Buxar stands rejected, at least, at this stage.
