Petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case filed under Sections 448, 323, 504, 380, 384 and 149 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3(1) (x) of the S.C./S.T. Act. As per the allegation, 25 persons entered in the house of the informant and started abusing him by taking his caste name and also assaulted him. Thereafter, the miscreants broke the lock of the box and took away rupees two lacs including some ornaments worth of rupees three lacs. They also forcibly got his

It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that he is a student and there is general and omnibus allegation against 25 persons. No specific role has been assigned upon the petitioner. The alleged occurrence is said to have taken place in the house of the informant and nothing is in public view. Petitioner claims that his antecedent is clean.

Having regards to the facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today in Patliputra P.S. Case No.345/2015, the above named petitioner, Chandan Kumar Varnwal shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000( Ten Thousand Rupees) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna subject to the conditions as laid down under sub-section(2) of Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure with a further condition that the court below shall make verification of criminal antecedent of the petitioner and if it is found that he is accused in any other criminal case, he would be taken in custody. Further, the petitioner shall remain present on each and every date during the course of the trial in the court below. If the petitioner fails to remain present on two consecutive dates during the course of the trial without any reasonable cause
