The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under sections 498-A, 307 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code. Later on section 304(B) of the Indian Penal Code and section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act was added.

On the basis of Fardbeyan of the deceased herself present F.I.R has was lodged. The deceased made very specific allegation against the petitioner that the petitioner sprinkled K. Oil on her body and thereafter she was set ablaze. It is submitted that six witnesses have been examined during trial out of whom two witnesses did not support the prosecution case.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.22293 of 2015 (3) dt.10-09-2015 Considering the nature of allegation made against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 184 of 2014 arising out of Shambhuganj P.S. Case no. 119 of 2013 pending in the court of the learned 3rd Additional Sessions Judge, Banka. Prayer for bail of the petitioner is, accordingly, rejected.

The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within nine months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
