The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Section 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per written report of informant, the daughter of the informant was married with this petitioner and after the marriage, this petitioner alongwith other co-accused persons used to torture his daughter for dowry. It is further alleged that on 15.07.2021 in mid-night, all the accused persons killed his daughter.

It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that no offence, as alleged in the F.I.R., has been committed by this petitioner and he has been falsely implicated in this case only with a view to extract money. It is further submitted that there is no eye-

It is further submitted that as per post-mortem report, deceased died due to drowning. However, learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the bail petition and submitted that petitioner is husband of the deceased and there is specific and direct allegation against this petitioner alongwith other co-accused that they committed murder of daughter of the informant.

Considering the same, the prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioner is rejected.
