Learned counsel for the petitioners fairly submits that the petitioners had built the case on the basis of letter dated 05.12.2008 (Annexure-9) issued by the Human Resources Department of the State Government and the said letter, as per the learned counsel for the petitioners, has been withdrawn during the pendency of the present case. This fact has been highlighted by the respondent-State in paragraph 21 of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.12021 of 2017(3) dt.07-11-2025 3/3 counter affidavit.

3. In view of the aforesaid development, the present writ applications have become infructuous and it is accordingly dismissed.
