The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 395 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the three accused persons on the point of pistol snatched the bag of the informant containing Rs. 40,000/- in cash besides other articles as mentioned in the FIR.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the FIR was registered against unknown. The name of the petitioner transpired in course of investigation on the confessional statement of a co-accused made before police. The other co-accused namely Amarjeet Chaudhay, Mantosh Kumar and Pappu Kumar have all been enlarged on bail. The

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case, the petitioner being in custody for more than 1 year and charge sheet having been submitted in the case without putting the petitioner on T.I. Parade, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Sikarhatta P.S. Case no. 82 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M-VIII, Bhojpur at Ara.
