Mr.AC to AG ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 20-04-2023 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State.

This writ application has been filed for the following reliefs:- "I. To quash the order contained in Memo No. 378 dated 26.08.2020 issued under the signature of respondent no. 6 by which the petitioner has been transferred from the Govindpur Block to the office of District Social Security Cell, Nawada to the post of Accounts Clerk (Social Securities).

II. Also the direct the respondents to allow the petitioner to work as Accounts Clerk (Social Securities) in Govindpur Block in the district of

Patna High Court CWJC No.8880 of 2020(12) dt.20-04-2023 2/2 Nawada.

III. Also for any other relief/reliefs for which the petitioner is found in the eye of law."

It appears that the petitioner was transferred from the Govindpur Block to the office of District Social Security Cell, Nawada in the same district. He had a grievance that his transfer was done within a short span of time from one office to another office which is in violation of the guidelines of the government. At this stage, the fact is that the petitioner has already served at the transferred place for more than two and half years and his next transfer will be due within few months. To this Court, therefore, it appears that this writ application has lost its efficacy by efflux of time and any discussion at this stage, would be only in the nature of academic discussion which is not required to be done.

This writ application is being disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to raise his grievance, in case, in future any such occasion arises.
