Having regard to the fact that the trial of the petitioner has already commenced and some witnesses have already been examined, this Court would direct the trial Court that the trial of the petitioner is concluded within a period of six months from today.

The Superintendent of Police, Gopalganj is also directed to ensure that the remaining witnesses in connection with Gopalganj(Town) P.S. Case No. 133 of 2014, is produced before the trial Court within a maximum period of two months from the date of receipt

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24330 of 2015 (2) dt.22-07-2015 of this order, so that the trial of the petitioner comes to an end within the aforementioned period of six months. It is also made clear that if the trial of the petitioner on the lapse on the part of the prosecution is not concluded in the aforementioned period of six months, the petitioner may initially move before the trial Court which will record its reasons for not concluding the trial, whereafter the petitioner may move this Court again renewing his prayer of bail.

Let a copy of this order be sent to the trial Court and also to the Superintendent of Police, Gopalganj for its strict compliance.
