JUSTICE ALOK KUMAR PANDEY ORAL ORDER (Per: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE P. B. BAJANTHRI) 05-08-2024 The present L.P.A. was filed in the year 2018 . Office has raised office objection on 12.12.2018. It was not complied for about 4 years. Even excluding Covid 19 period, appellants had sufficient time to comply before Covid 19 and after Covid 19 period. Appellants are not serious about pursuing this L.P.A. in view of the fact that office objection has not been attended timely.

2. During pendency of the present L.P.A., contesting respondent-Ajay Kumar Verma has died on 14.11.2022. In this regard, we had passed order on 08.07.2024. Even after lapse of about nearly one month, appellants have not taken any steps for

Patna High Court L.P.A No.1411 of 2018(5) dt.05-08-2024 2/2 filing interlocutory applications for substitution and other interlocutory applications.

3. Resultantly, the present L.P.A. stands dismissed with cost of Rs. 5,000/- (five thousand). The cost shall be deposited in the Patna High Court Legal Services Committee within a period of eight weeks from today.
