The petitioner seeks bail in Bahadurganj P. S. Case No. 337 of 2018, Spl. case no. 16 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 8,20(b)(ii)(c) N.D.P.S. Act. It is alleged in the written report that total 150 kg of Ganja was recovered from a pick-up van. The petitioner along with one another accused person, namely, Anjan Barman were found sitting on the aforesaid vehicle. Co-accused Anjan Barman has disclosed before the police that aforesaid ganja was loaded from Kuchvihar of Vikash Sarkar and has to deliver it to Ramji Singh of Chapra.

Therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. The prayer for bail of the petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.32270 of 2019(3) dt.17-07-2019 2/2 stands rejected.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody since 9.12.2018 Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and make efforts to conclude the same as early as possible preferably within a period of nine months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

Petitioner may renew his prayer for bail in the event trial is not concluded within the aforesaid period. (Sanjay Priya, J) shyambihari/- U T
