2. With the consent of the parties, this writ application is being disposed of at this stage itself.

3. In the present writ application, the petitioner has prayed for the grant of following reliefs:

"(i) For issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order for directing the respondents to transfer the petitioner (who is a Higher Secondary school teacher 11-12) from her present place of posting to the place of her choices pursuant to her application for transfer on special ground

(ii) In alternate, be pleased to direct the respondents to transfer the petitioner afresh in a Govt. school in Phulwari Block in Dishict -Patna.

(iii) For issuance of any other appropriate writ, order or direction which Your Lordships may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case."

4. The brief facts of the case is that the petitioner applied for transfer through online mode and the application for transfer has been brought on record by way of Annexure P/4. The request for transfer has been made by the petitioner in terms of the resolution of the State Government contained in letter no. 7/सथापना-02-06/2024 dated 07.10.2024 (Annexure-P/6). Thereafter, the petitioner also gave a representation to the Additional Chief Secretary, Education Department through the District Education Officer, East Champaran, Motihari vide Annexure-P/5.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that till date, no decision has been taken on the application for transfer submitted by the petitioner in terms of the resolution of the State Government. He further submits that in a similar matter, an order was passed by this Court on 02.02.2026 in C.W.J.C. No.

Patna High Court CWJC No.7432 of 2026(2) dt.24-06-2026 3/3 1643 of 2026, whereby the appropriate respondent-authority was directed to consider the request for transfer made by the petitioner in the said case. He, therefore, prays that a similar order be passed in this case as well.

6. To the aforesaid prayer being made by learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel appearing for the respondent-State does not have any objection.

Considering the limited nature of prayer being made by learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ application is disposed of directing the respondent no. 2 i.e. the Director, Secondary Education, Education Department, Govt. of Bihar, Patna to take a final decision on the application for transfer made by the petitioner, in accordance with law, within one month from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

8. With the aforesaid observation/direction, this writ application is disposed of. All pending interlocutory application(s), if any, shall also be deemed to have been disposed of.
