Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the State. This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Civil Lines P.S. Case No. 266 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 394 and 411 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner was refused privilege of regular bail earlier by an order dated 05.11.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 22276 of 2020, noticing the gravity of the offence and his involvement in commission of crime after thoroughly examining the incriminating materials collected by the police

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that one Md. Sonu Quraishi, who has been considered to be the kingpin of a criminal gang, has been allowed regular bail by this Court by an order dated 13.03.2019 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 15513 of 2019. He has further submitted that co-accused Deepak Kumar has also been granted regular bail by this Court by an order dated 12.10.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 26637 of 2020.

Considering the said submissions, which have been noted in the order dated 05.11.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 22276 of 2020 whereby the petitioner's prayer for regular bail was rejected, I do not find that any fresh ground is made out for grant of regular bail.

This application is accordingly dismissed.
