Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 307, 379, 354 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are persons with clean antecedent and petitioner No. 1 is a woman and they came to be implicated on account of dispute relating to land.

Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners and submits that there is specific allegation against petitioner No. 2 of assaulting the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.37145 of 2024(2) dt.01-07-2024 2/2 informant by Khanti on head, on which the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that there is no specific allegation against petitioner No. 1. 5.

In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the petitioner No. 1, Geeta Devi , in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned trial court within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned trial court where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Gurua P.S. Case No. 244 of 2020 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.

However, the Court is not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to petitioner No. 2, Rampravesh Yadav.
