2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offence under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 118(1), 109, 74, 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023.

3. Allegation against petitioner is that he assaulted informant and his sons with sword, causing injuries to them.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that informant is step-brother of petitioner and on account of land dispute between the parties, free-fight took place, in which, both sides sustained injuries. Case and counter case. Petitioner claims clean antecedent and is in custody since 03.01.2026. Chargesheet has been submitted.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the nature of accusation and period of custody, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Katihar in connection with Balrampur P.S. Case No. 59 of 2025.
