JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR JHA ORAL ORDER 20-07-2015 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and the learned counsel for the complainant.

The petitioner seeks bail in a case under Section 498A, 494 of the Indian Penal Code and section 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

The wife of the petitioner made allegation of demand of dowry and torture and also alleged that the petitioner has solemnized second marriage. The petitioner is in jail since 22.01.2015.

The learned counsel for the complainant, however,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24895 of 2015 (2) dt.20-07-2015 2/2 opposed the prayer for bail Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioner and the fact that petitioner is in jail since 22.01.2015, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate, Patna in complaint Case No. 2242 (C )/2011.
