The petitioner seeks bail in Madanpur P.S. Case No. 67/2019, instituted for offence under Section(s) 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is alleged in the written report that 1000 litres of Sprit have been recovered from a car parked beside the road. It is further alleged that 4-5 persons were standing beside the car, who tried to run away seeing the police party but on chase one person was apprehended who disclosed his name as petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that petitioner has been arrested in this case merely on suspicion. He was not found sitting in the aforesaid vehicle. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 7th Addl. Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Aurangabad, in connection with Madanpur P.S. Case No. 67/2019, subject to the conditions that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioner.
