The petitioner seeks bail in Complaint Case No. 217 of 2014, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

The complainant entered into an agreement with the petitioner to sell the land bearing Khata No. 557, Khesra No. 1103 of Tauji no. 8/5 situated in Sadar P.S. and received Rs. 9,60,000/- and the petitioner executed the deed of sale, but later on when the complainant came to enquire, it was found that the petitioner had already sold the land to someone else. The petitioner did not return money.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.23866 of 2015 (2) dt.14-07-2015 2/2 It is submitted that the petitioner is in jail since 20.09.2014. The petitioner has remained in jail for about 10 months. The dispute appears to be of civil nature.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Sandeep Singh, Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Purnia in connection with Complaint Case No. 217 of 2014.
