The petitioner has filed this writ petition with prayer for issuance of writ in the nature of writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or writs and direction commanding the Respondents to release and pay the compensation of lands of the petitioner already acquired by order of Special Land Acquisition Officer, Respondent No. 2 for the purpose of Government Project in respect of construction of "Punpun, Barrage Dam" for the interest of common people of the District against Land Schedule contained in LAND POSSESSION CERTIFICATE (Annexure-1) granted by the Circle Officer after fully examination and verification of plots having found lawful title, possession and undisputed and Land Rent Receipt there to have also been paid

Patna High Court CWJC No.10477 of 2019(3) dt.21-03-2025 2/2 and your Lordships may further be pleased to direct the Respondents to pay statutory interest for delayed payment as provided under the Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that vide letter dated 30.03.2019, petitioner submitted her application before the Special Land Acquisition Officer, Aurangabad, Bihar (Respondent No. 2) but the same has not been disposed of. He further submits that this case may be disposed of with liberty to the petitioner for filing detailed representation before Respondent No. 2 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of this order. On filing of the representation by the petitioner, the concerned authority is directed to dispose of the same preferably within a period of four months from the date of filing of representation by the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the State has no objection to this prayer of the petitioner.

5. With the above observations, the present writ petition is disposed of.
