The matter has been taken up through video conferencing.

The petitioner seeks bail in Chapra Muffasil P.S. case No. 19/2020 registered u/s 272, 273 of the IPC and u/s 30(a), 41(1) and 37(8) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act. The informant on secret information that some persons were doing illegal business of liquor raided the place and apprehended one Pintu Kumar. 240 liters of liquor was recovered. Pintu Kumar disclosed the name of petitioner and other accused persons.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner was not arrested on the spot. The petitioner has got two criminal cases of similar nature pending against him but the

Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made against the petitioner, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Saran at Chapra in connection with Chapra Muffasil P.S. case No. 19/2020.
