In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Begusarai (Muffasil) P.S. Case No. 197 of 2014 registered for offences under sections 147, 148, 149, 447, 307, 384 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act. Instead of dealing with the matter on merit, it appears that two witnesses have been examined and also it appears from the order of Sessions Judge, he has given a stern warning for production of the witnesses.
This Court hopes and trusts that the case would be disposed of at the earliest. Only direction is given to the court below to complete the trial within a period of six months from the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17162 of 2016 (2) dt.28-04-2016 2/2 date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. If the trial is not completed by the aforesaid period, the petitioner will have liberty to renew his prayer for bail, subject to condition that he would cooperate in the proceeding of the court below.
With the above observation/direction, this petition is rejected.
