JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL ORDER 18-12-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the State. This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Bhabua P.S. Case No. 560 of 2019 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 379, 384, 386, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant has alleged that the persons named in the F.I.R., including this petitioner, had intercepted him, when he was returning back to his home from coaching center. At the point of pistol, they were demanding extortion money. It is further alleged that when the informant and his cousin, who was accompanying him, were returning, the accused persons

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.33205 of 2020(2) dt.18-12-2020 2/2 assaulted both of them and snatched a sum of Rs. 1,500/-. There is also allegation that they were demanding extortion money per month.

From the statement made in paragraph 3 of the application, I find that the petitioner is implicated in five criminal cases.

However, considering the nature of accusation and the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 23.09.2019, this application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M., Bhabhua in Bhabhua P.S. Case No. 560 of 2019. (Chakradhari Sharan Singh, J) AKASH/- U T
