The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Kotwali (Munger) P.S. Case No.348 of 2019, registered under Sections 406, 420, 467, 468, 471, 170, 120-B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant in sum and substance alleged that Kunal Singh named himself to be the Personal Assistant of Shri Lalan Singh, Member of Parliament and he took Rs.40,000/- from the informant. The informant paid altogether Rs.7,00,000/- to Kunal Singh through different modes, but no job was provided to the informant. Later on, the informant came to know that real name of Kunal Singh is Brajesh Kumar @ Bambam Singh. He is not the Personal Assistant of Lalan Singh, but he used to cheat and commit fraud with innocent people. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the informant did not make any allegation against the petitioner. Brajesh Kumar @ Bambam Singh was apprehended and he disclosed that one land deal was done and Rupees one crore was

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34920 of 2020(2) dt.17-03-2021 2/2 promised to be paid to Narendra Singh. Sumit Kumar Singh, the son of the petitioner has also been made accused in the case. The informant or any other witness did not disclose the name of the petitioner nor alleged that the petitioner took any money from any person for providing job. Sumit Kumar Singh has already been granted anticipatory bail vide order dated 01.07.2020, passed in Cr. Misc. No.14187 of 2020. The case of the petitioner stands almost on the same footing. Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid, the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the order, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned CJM, Munger in connection with Kotwali (Munger) P.S. Case No.348 of 2019, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
