The petitioner seeks bail in a case under sections 498(A) and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is the husband who is alleged to have assaulted his wife and snatched her ornaments. The petitioner is in jail since 27.12.2014.

Considering the facts aforesaid and the nature of allegation made in the first information report, the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sherghati, Gaya in connection with Barachatty P.S. Case no. 585 of 2014.
