Heard learned counsels for respective parties. In the instant petition, petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:- "For issuance of appropriate writ(s) order(s), direction(s) for quashing of order contained in Memo No.1172, dated 24/7/2017 issued under the signature of Deputy Inspector General of Police, Tirhut Range, Muzaffarpur as well as order of the Senior Superintendent of Police, Muzaffarpur contained in Memo No.2179, dated 28/7/2017 whereby and where under petitioner has been

Patna High Court CWJC No.13790 of 2017 dt.26-11-2021 2/2 dismissed from the post of Sub-Inspector of Police and reinstate the petitioner on his post with all consequential service benefits.

And/Or Pass such other order(s) for which petitioner is entitled to."

During the pendency of the appeal before the Inspector General of Police, Tiruhut Range, Muzaffarpur, petitioner has presented this petition.

The appellate authority is hereby directed to decide the petitioner's appeal within a period of two months from the date of receipt of this order.

The petitioner is hereby directed to file additional grounds, if any, in respect of his pending appeal before the appellate authority within a period of two weeks from today. If such additional grounds is urged before the appellate authority, the appellate authority is directed to take note of additional grounds while deciding the appeal.

With the aforesaid observations, the present petition stands disposed off.
