====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 21-03-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner, who is in custody since 12.04.2021 seeks bail in connection with Tajpur (Halai) P.S. Case No. 287 of 2005, registered for the offence punishable under Section 8/20 of N.D.P.S. Act.

Without going into the merits of the case, the court below is directed to conclude the trial expeditiously well within a period of 12 months taking into consideration Annexure- 2, the deposition of the seizure-list witnesses namely Virendra Pd. Singh and Bhushan Pd. Singh.

The Superintendent of Police, Samastipur is directed to ensure the presence of all the prosecution witnesses before the trial Court on the date fixed without fail. If no substantial progress takes place in trial, the

With the aforesaid observation, this petition is disposed of.
