Petitioner is in custody in connection with Amnour P.S. Case No. 259 of 2020 for the offence under sections 341, 323, 353, 384, 504, 506, 341 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 37(C) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation against this petitioner is that he alongwith others entered into an altercation with the driver of the pick-van and demanded Rangdari. The petitioner was apprehended by the police. He was found in a drunken condition.

The petitioner is in custody since 16.7.2020. Considering the fact that there is allegation that the petitioner was found in drunken condition involved in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34861 of 2020(2) dt.25-01-2021 2/2 demanding Rangdari from the driver of the pick-up van and he is in custody since 16.7.2020, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 50,000/- (Fifty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge,Excise, Saran at Chapra, in connection with Amnour P.S. Case No. 259 of 2020.
