At the outset, Mr. Akshansh Ankit, learned counsel for the Magadh University submits that in compliance of the order dated 24.11.2022, all the formalities have stood completed and the payment order with respect to arrears of pension, pension, gratuity, GIC and leave encashment have already been issued and the actual payment is likely to be made within a

He further submits that so far the arrears of salary for the period December, 2019 to 31.01.2022 is concerned, the same is under the process and only required to be computed and after completion of such process, all the admissible salary would be paid to the petitioner within a period of four weeks.

Considering the submissions made on behalf of learned counsel for the Magadh University, Bodh Gaya, the present writ application stands disposed of with a direction to the respondents Vice-chancellor and the Registrar, Magadh University, Bodh Gaya to ensure the necessary payment within a period of four weeks from today, failing which the petitioner would be entitled to interest at the rate of 8% per annum over all the dues, till actual payment is made.
