Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for seeking the relief as prayed for in the present writ application he has already filed a representation before the Superintendent of Police, Muzaffarpur Town (respondent no. 5) on 25.08.2020 but the said representation is still pending and has not been disposed of. He further submits that he would be satisfied if an appropriate direction could be issued by this Court for disposal of his representation within a fixed time frame. This prayer being made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Respondent-State has no objection.

3. As prayed for by learned counsel for the petitioner, the Superintendent of Police, Muzaffarpur Town (respondent no.

5) is hereby directed to dispose of the representation dated 25.08.2020 filed by the petitioner within two months from the date of production of a copy of this order. If the Superintendent of Police, Muzaffarpur Town (respondent no. 5) deems necessary to afford an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. He shall do so. The order disposing of the petitioner must be a reasoned and speaking order.

4. With the aforesaid direction and observation, the present case is accordingly disposed of.
