The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Vaishali (Belsar O.P.) P.S. Case No. 113 of 2020, dated 06.04.2020, instituted for the offence under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955. As a P.D.S. dealer, the petitioner is alleged to have

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that during the course of investigation, many beneficiaries were interrogated but except for one, nobody had supported the aforesaid allegation of having purchased the controlled commodity at a higher price.

Considering the nature of accusation against the petitioner, he, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of eight weeks, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur, in connection with Vaishali (Belsar O.P.) P.S. Case No. 113 of 2020, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
